Perantala Palli is a place close to Rajahmundry that is hard to find but draws nature fans and photo lovers. The main point of your trip plans will be Rajahmundry. As few choices as possible can make your trip one you'll never forget. Perantala Palli is one of the best places to visit in Papikondalu.

A river cruise that lasts all day takes you to the Papi Hills and back. You can get off at the tribal town of Kolluru and spend the night in a bamboo hut, which is a fun way to spend the night.

It's nice to see that there will be so many of these boats ready for travelers to get on. The journey along the beautiful Godavari River will definitely be an experience you'll never forget.

History

Balananda Swami built Sri Krishna Munivatam in this village in 1927. These days, a group of people called Konda Reddys take care of this Munivatam and do pooja every day. This town was visited by Balananda Swami in 1926 when he was traveling from Rajahmundry to Bhadrachalam on the river Godavari in a motor launch.

He stayed there for the night. He fell in love with the peaceful atmosphere, the warm people of the group, and the beautiful scenery of this place. Then, a woman showed up and told him to follow her. She was gone when she got to a spot with trees and a stream running across the bank of the river. He stayed there all night to wait for her.

He was in shock when he found an idol of Lord Shiva the next morning and chose to build a mandapa there. A mandapam with the name Sri Krishna Munivatam came to existence here. There was no preacher at this site; instead, the believers would pray to God and do pooja on their own after taking a holy dip in the Godavari River.

Perantala Palli village

The tribal town of Perantalapalli is very small and very pretty. Before getting back on the ship, you can go see the old Shiva temple here. People think that the stream in front of the temple stays cool all year. There are a lot of handmade bamboo goods in the local market. They would make great gifts for family and friends, and they don't cost much either.

Perantala Palli is indeed like a dream heaven that you can only feel, not explain. The Perantalapalli village is worth visiting during the Papikondalu tour package.
