Gir Jungle Trail is an open gipsy safari that takes guests deep into Gir Forest. It is a 2.5-hour adventure ride that gives visitors a true jungle experience. During the journey, travellers can see many different Gir Forest animals in their natural habitat. Once you enter the core zone, your chances of seeing the majestic Asiatic Lion, the king of the forest, increase dramatically.

This booking obtains a permit that allows up to 6 individuals to enter the jungle. In addition, gipsy and woodland guides must be recruited. Both are easily available for hire from the Sasan Gir Forest office or by alerting the hotel staff.

Devalia Safari Park, also known as Gir Interpretation Zone - Devalia, is a fenced-in 412-hectare area. Devalia is one of the eco-tourism zones that was created in order to minimise the number of tourists who visit Gir Forest.

It is an excellent opportunity for tourists to see the rustic beauty and nature of Gir Forest in a safe environment. Visitors can view Asiatic lions, Leopards, Sambhar, Black Buck, Chital, Blue Bull, Jackal, Wild Boar, and other creatures. One of the best adventures in Gir National Park is Gir Jungle Trail.

What is the starting point of the Gir Jungle Trail?

The Gir National Park begins in Sasan Gir, and visitors must first visit the Sinh Sadan (the forest department's guest house), which is located near the Gir National Park's welcome and orientation centre.

What is the best time slot for the Gir Jungle safari?

During the summer, the times are usually 30 minutes earlier. Whereas the 6.30 AM travel is the finest, the difference is minor throughout the winter. During the monsoons, the safari is not in use.

Can tourists take their vehicles?

One permission is issued for a maximum of six passengers in an open 4 x 4 jeep. You may also bring your vehicle on the Gir safari excursion; however, it must be an adaptable petrol Euro 3 vehicle. However, the adventure is worth experiencing during the Gir National Park tour package.
