It is one of the must visit places in Jog falls. The popular location, Bennehole Falls distanced around 77 kilometers from the Jog Falls.

Bennehole Falls is a tributary of the river Aghanashini surrounded by the thick forest area having narrow paths.  The water simply drops from the narrow gauge to the big bed or rocks. Once you walk around 20 minutes from the one way entrance you will reach the destination. There is a secluded place through the dense forest area.

The access to this zone is by trekking through the dense forest to reach Bennehole Falls is steep.  The regular walking trail will take you to the top of the hill without any hassle.  There are several types of pools which are formed by the flow of the river. It is an extremely good place to sit and relax.  There is no such diversion required to reach the Bennehole Falls.

It is not a great idea to camp on the top of the hill, but if you decide to do so, you can come down at the base of the camp to enjoy it. The rocks are extremely slippery here. Be sure to include this location in your Jog falls Tour Packages.

The Bennehole Falls is just 1 kilometer from the Sirsi to Kumta road after a village named as Bandala Past Amminalli.

The best time to visit this destination is post-monsoon months and in the winters. Even the accessibility of private jeeps made available.
