Sri Aurobindo Ashram

The Aurobindo Ashram was inaugurated in 1926 in the eastern section of Pondicherry. It has witnessed the progress from two dozen devotees to more than 2000 community members now. Sri Aurobindo and the mother nurtured the ashram while housing their significant parts of their lives. The Ashram is an umbrella to more than 400 students and other disciples offering healthy, serenity, shelter, food, and medical facilities. They persuade to inculcate virtues like knowledge from library, cultural education like dance, singing, etc, and physical training like asana, sports, etc.
