Brahmapureeswarar temple is a famous Hindu Temple which is located in Tirupattur. Many people come throughout the year to seek blessings at this temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. The Brahmapureeswarar temple was reconstructed several times during the rule of various dynasties. However, it was originally believed to be built during the Chola dynasty's rule between the 19th century and the 13th century. The temple's name combines two words, "Brahma" and "Pureeswarar," which mean God of creation and Lord Shiva, respectively. The temple boasts unique architecture, featuring beautiful carvings and sculptures.

The architecture of the Brahmapureeswarar temple

A rectangular pattern is used while constructing the temple. Along with this, the whole temple is surrounded by massive stone walls. There are two high gopurams. The main entrance gate of the temple has very beautiful carvings.
