Eco Park is one of the most popular places to visit in Dhanaulti. The park is over 13 hectares and has many oak and deodar trees. The DFO and the people of Dhanaulti worked together to make it happen so that poor people could get jobs. Providing low-income people with employment opportunities was the original aim of the park. One of the best places to visit in Dhanaulti is this one.

With an elevation of 7800 m above sea level, this spot has excellent weather all year. The park is a perfect place for kids, as it has a playground. People can plant a sapling in the garden as part of a custom called "memory sapling plantation" to honour a loved one.

Flora at the Eco Park

The two eco parks in Dhanaulti are Amber, which means "sky," and Dhara, which means "earth." They are 200 m apart. The area has so many deodar trees and wildflower gardens under protection. The forest division of the Garhwal region covers the whole area.

This natural park has many types of conifers, but the deodar trees stand out. The park's people also protect endangered species about to go extinct. The garden is most beautiful at sunrise and dusk when the sky is full of colours.

Activities at the Eco Park

You can sit outside in the park's small open huts and enjoy the nice weather. These eco-huts were made with green technology, which brings tourists to the area because it is good for the earth. The kids can enjoy the toys that are there.

It's also possible to enjoy hot and tasty Maggi in the park's open Maggi area, where the cool air makes it taste even better. People sell peanuts, popcorn, and tea here because it's a popular place for picnics.

Eco Park is great for tourists who like to try new things. There are outdoor sports like sky walking, flying fox, rock climbing, and more for people of all ages, from kids to older adults, and safety measures are in place. There is also a yoga school and an interpretation centre in the park.

The best time to visit

The best time to visit the Dhanaulti Eco Park is September and June. Like the other hill towns, this one has excellent weather all year. But it would help if you stayed away during the monsoons and winter. The high temperature in the summer, 31 degrees Celsius, makes it a great time to relax. Eco Park is a must-see place in the Dhanaulti tour package.
