The Nageshwar Mahadev Temple is a Hindu temple on the southern side of Saputara Lake in the hill town of Saputara. It is one of the most famous shrines in the region, located near the Lake Garden and one of the best places to visit in Saputara.

The Nageshwar Mahadev Temple is devoted to Lord Shiva, known as the God of Snakes (Nageshwar). The temple's sanctum Sanctorum is primarily in design and houses a gorgeous black Shivling. The outer Hall of the temple has a figure of the lord Nandi. The Mahadev temple at Saputara is beautiful, clean and spiritual. 

The temple has lush green vegetation all around it, and it also has ceilings with stone carvings. An early morning visit to this temple would undoubtedly bring positive vibes. Although this temple is visited by many devotees daily, it attracts a large audience during Mahashivratri.
