Sunset Point is a popular viewpoint in Saputara, Gujarat. It is located west of Sunrise Point and is a popular tourist place in Saputara.

Sunset Point, located near Saputara Lake, is also known as Gandhi Shikhar or Gandhi Peak. During your Saputara journey, you can enjoy a beautiful sunset view across the Sahyadri Mountains from this spot.

As nightfall approaches, the sky is painted with the orange tint of the setting sun, creating a breathtaking spectacle to see. From this viewpoint, tourists can see the beautiful views of the forest. It has other tribal communities near Saputara town.

Sunset Point can be reached in two ways: via ropeway or by ascending the hills. To get to the peak, hike 1.5 kilometers from the parking area. The 30-minute climb is difficult and unsuitable for older people or those with joint discomfort.

Instead, tourists can reach this area in 10 minutes by taking the ropeway from Table Land or Table Area. This 10-minute ropeway ride offers visitors an excellent bird's-eye perspective of Saputara.

Activities at Sunset Point

Sunset Point has adventure activities for tourists, like horses, cycling, and camel riding. The point also has cycles available for kids to enjoy.

Sunset Point has many cafes near it. Tourists can have food at the restaurants and spend some time there. Tourists also love to take photos here at the point of sunrise. The park is famous for its views and pictures as well.

You can see so much greenery around the area. The spot has a calm environment and relaxes you with the cold wind. Similarly, we have Sunset Point on the western side, which provides a beautiful perspective of Dang woodland, with immense vegetation and a magnificent view as the yellow-coloured sun gently strews scarlet across the sky.

Although travellers can visit the point all year, the finest months are March through November. It is a place worth exploring and relaxing during the Saputara tour package.
