The overall time required to complete the trekking is around 7 to 8 days. The trekking starts from Aru and will proceed to various beautiful places to visit Pahalgam. During this trek, you can even have a look at the beautiful culture of Jammu and Kashmir. 

Best time to go for the trek

Summertime is favorable for the Tarsar Marsar Trek. During this time, the temperature is pleasing, and you don't have to worry about extremely cold temperatures. However, during the monsoon time, you will feel the low temperature with coolness in the morning, and pleasing temperature will be there throughout the day. But because of heavy rainfall and other issues, going for this track in monsoon season is not recommended. 

A short detail of the Tarsar Marsar Trek 

On the first day of the track, you have to go to the Aru village. The track actually starts from this place. After reaching here,  the second-day tracking will be done from Aru village to Lidderwat. The total distance for the second-day trekking will be around 10 kilometers, and it will take 5 hours to complete the track. 

After reaching Lidderwat,  the third-day tracking goes to Shekwas camp. After this, you have to track toward Tarsar lake on day 4. On day 5, you will go from Tarsar lake to Sundersar camp. The day six trekking will start from Sundersar camp until Homwas camp. On the last day, you will again return to Aru village.

Is Tarsar Marsar trek safe

This trek is made for moderate trekkers. If you are a trek lover, then you should look at this place in your KASHMIR TOUR PACKAGE. So if you have just started tracking, you should go for some smaller tracks first and then go for this one.
