Magod Falls appears at a distance 108 kilometres from Karwar. Magod Falls is one of the best places to visit in Dandeli. This waterfall is made of a group of waterfalls that is situated at Magod village of Uttar Kannada district of Karnataka state. Magod Falls is located over Bedti River, that is also known as Gangavalli River. This waterfall cascades down from a height of approximately 650 feet into a narrow valley made of rocks. Magod Falls is considered as a famous spot among Dandeli places to visit.

Besides the steep trails, the captivating Magod Falls has so much to offer. One can take shelter and can enjoy the mesmerizing view of this waterfall. Though the area can be slippery, you should be extremely careful with your steps. One also can take beautiful pictures of scenic beauty. You can’t get your eyes off from this beautiful view.  

Magod Falls is situated near to the famous sunset point of this region named JenukalluGudda. One will find a beautiful lake named Kawadikre, on the way to Magod Falls. This lake is spread within an area of 60 acres. Magod Falls is a mandatory tourist attraction of DANDELI TOUR PACKAGE. There is less crowd in this area, and this place appears lonely after 5 pm. Therefore, the perfect time is the months of October and January to visit Magod Falls. Magod Falls is also reckoned as Magodu Falls. This waterfall is situated in the opposite direction of Sathodi Falls. Though tourists can reach to the bottom of this waterfall, still there is a restriction of not to head to the bottom of the Magod Falls during monsoon.
