A wonderful place to visit in the weekends is Koosalli Waterfalls. Not so well known as a perfect weekend destination, this place is an amazing stopover. The enchanting beauty is situated at the 45 kilometers from the Murudeshwar and 54 kilometers from the popular Jog falls.
This magnificent Koosalli Waterfalls is surrounded by the dense forest areas, around 5 kilometers from the village named Koosali. One of the top places to visit in Murudeshwar, the waterfall is around 20 kilometers from the Shiroor via Toodalli which is also known by the name of Soodalli.
There are 6 cascades near to the waterfall dropping at a height of 380 feet. Traveling through the dense forest area among the rock climbing will reach you to the Koosalli Waterfalls. Trekking towards the waterfall takes around 2 hours to reach you the destination through the village.
During the months of monsoon, the area becomes much more difficult to explore as the rocks are slippery to trek. Visiting around the months of November to December is best to explore trekking as the weather suits to offer you a pleasant ambience.
Transports like auto are a better option to reach the Koosalli village from the Shiroor.
The initial three falls are much smaller in size, whereas the other three are gorgeous in outlook. The sixth waterfall is of a height of 150 feet.
