The Glass Sky Walk Pelling is home to India's first skywalk. It is in the lovely town of Pelling in Northeast Sikkim, which is one of the best places to visit there. It's built at an amazing height of 7200 feet. Visitors can see thousands of feet to the ground from the top of the mountain. This skywalk can be scary, especially for those afraid of heights or vertigo, as walking on clear glass high up can be frightening.

Architectural Features of the Sky Walk

The Sky Walk in Pelling is a beautiful modern structure that fits perfectly with the natural scenery around it. Suspended in mid-air, this transparent glass walkway provides a bird's-eye view of the verdant valley below and the breathtaking peak of Kanchenjunga and is said to be the highlight of many Pelling tour packages

These walkways are safe and are made with solid glass walls to see around. Simple, elegant design in coordination with nature, supported by a robust metal framework. You can have beautiful views from your skywalk, thus a must-see spot in Pelling.

Panoramic Views

You can see waterfalls, green woods, and temples from the bridge. It is beside the beautiful figure of Chenrezig, which is widely known as a place for Buddhist pilgrims. The skywalk provides a view of the widely amazing Kanchenjunga Mountain and the rivers Teesta and Rangit flowing through this area, making it even more serene.
