History of Sim’s Park
Rated as one among the most thronged places to visit in Ooty, Sim’s Park is a nature enthusiast’s heaven. The park was built almost a century ago in 1874 by two gentlemen named J.D Sims and Major Murray. These men brought rare plants and trees from the world over, and thanks to their efforts, Ooty tourism has flourished so much.
