The beautiful Katika Waterfalls is in the Visakhapatnam area of Andhra Pradesh, not far from the Borra Caves. There are many better waterfalls in Araku than this one. Tourists must visit the waterfall at least once. The Katika Waterfalls are one of the most beautiful places to visit in Araku Valley.

The name of the town close by is where the falls got their name. The Gosthani River makes the Katiki waterfall. It falls more than 100 feet from a height. It's nice to take a bath in the pond at the base of the waterfall after a long hike to get there. The Katika Valley is a place worth visiting during the Araku tour packages.

From the closest road with cars, you have to walk through a thick forest and up to the top of a mountain for 20 to 30 minutes each way. You can cook here, and you can also camp here. You can also go hiking here.

What are Katika Waterfalls famous for?

The waterfall is close to the Borra cave. The place is famous among picnickers and ecotourists. Visitors get a warm welcome with a sense of adventure as they journey over the verdant, hilly terrain that surrounds the waterfall.

Activities at waterfall

•    Hiking: You have to hike up a hill to get to the waterfall. If you compare it to hiking up to waterfalls, this hike is pretty easy and only takes about twenty or thirty minutes. As you walk up the hill, pay attention to the different birds, animals, and trees that you see.

•    Camping: Katiki Falls is a well-known spot for camping. Set up tents here with your family and friends to live out your wild camping dreams. Sitting on logs around a fire, roasting food, singing, dancing, and telling stories are some of the best moments you can have.

•    Food: Katiki Falls is famous for one thing that you can only find here. In this unique dish, marinated chicken that has been mixed with the smell and taste of bamboo sticks is made into what is called "Bamboo chicken." It goes away faster than hotcakes, making you want more.
