History of Mirjan Fort
Situated in Gokarna Karnataka, Mirjana Fort has a glorious past. In the 16th century, Chennabhairav Devi built this fort. Chennabhairav Devi belonged to the Tuluva-Saluva clan. According to some other historical information, the Mirjan Fort was established in early 1200 A.D. by Nawayath Sultanates. There is some additional historical information also related to this fort.
