People in the area also call this hot spring Yumthang Tsachu. This hot spring heats its water to about 50 degrees Celsius and contains a high amount of sulfur.
There are two pools with hot spring water where you can take a bath. A path for people walks across the Lachung River on a small bridge to get to the hut. People say that these hot water dips are good for your health, making them a popular attraction in Lachung tour packages.

Spring is ideal for visiting and exploring the valley due to its moderate weather, with daily temperatures ranging from 10°C to 20°C. Spring has a mostly sunny sky, allowing vistas of Yumthang Valley's snow-capped mountains. Fall is another good season to explore Yumthang Valley, from September to December.
