History of Junagadh 

Initially, the city was under the rule of many political dynasties. Later, it came under the dynasty of Babi in 1946. He ruled over the city until the War of Independence against the Britishers. 

It was a city with a maximum Hindu population. The ruler, Mohammad Mahabat Khanji, was a loyal Muslim, and he gave Pakistan his approval in 1947.
