Major Attractions

1. Eco-Tourism Centre- Chellarkovil Park.

Initiated in the fortunate year of 2008 as the eco-tourism spot, all the income generated by the ever-increasing tourism here is effectively used for the betterment of the gorgeous village itself. The preservation, protection & betterment of the tourist site is all that the government aims for through several projects of afforestation, vegetation and irrigation.

2. Garden Tours

There are multiple Ayurvedic gardens conveniently built within the village premises which attract a lot of tourists here. With the knowledge and secrets of Ayurveda being spread through such gardens, the village is home to innumerable Spice gardens as well. Known as the land of both Ayurveda and Spices, Kerala is a proud state which is home to this beautiful village. There are multiple guided tours available at the site for tourists to enjoy.

3. Breathtaking Watch Tower

Famously called the 'God's own balcony' is this tower at the breathtaking peak of the village. The major attractions here are the breathtaking Sunrises, Sunsets and the lovely Waterfall which is known for giving some memorable moments to people who come here. One may enjoy the sight through a telescope which is permanently placed at the balcony. It is naturally formed twelve hundred meters above sea level.

Being a wonderful site for Spice plantations, the village is a prime site to buy spices for your households and even as gifts to your loved ones. Several sizes of spice packagings are available here which are freshly picked, packed and preserved for longer use. Don't forget to buy some for yourself before leaving.
