Badami is in a rough red sandstone valley that surrounds the Agastya Lake. It is a great place to learn about archaeology because of the beautiful churches, fortresses, and sandstone carvings. Badami is in the Bagalkot district of Karnataka. She is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites that make up Aihole-Badami-Pattadakal. It is the best example of a traditional Indian temple building worldwide. People who want to try something new often come here to go rock climbing. 

Agastya Lake

Agastya Lake is a big lake in Badami, Karnataka, India. It is outside the city and below some cave temples. It is said to have formed in the 5th century and is holy. Many people believe that the water in it can heal them. Many people wash away their sins by bathing in the lake. Some say that the lake is one of the most exciting parts of a Badami tour package and that going there early in the morning is the best time to enjoy it.

Badami Cave 1

Cave 1 is a cave made of rocks that people see in Badami, Karnataka. In Badami Tour Packages, it is a must-see destination. The carvings in the cave are well-known. The cave's most famous carving is of Shiva, known as Nataraja. It has 18 arms and is dancing in 81 different ways from the Bharata Natya. Badami Cave 2

Cave 2 is just a few meters above Cave 1, a shrine to Lord Vishnu. It is another beautiful place to visit in Badami. It is the smallest of Badami's four caves. In this cave, Lord Vishnu shows up as a dwarf, also known as Trivikrama. Two guards, or Dwarapalakas, with lotuses in their hands, stand at the door to the cave. This picture shows different forms of Lord Vishnu. This cave has carvings of various forms of Lord Vishnu, such as Varaha and Lord Krishna riding a Garuda. 

Badami Cave 3

Cave 3 is a few steps up from Cave 2. It is the most significant and beautiful of the four cave churches. The cave has pictures and statues of Lord Shiva and Vishnu dating back to 578 AD. You can see a bigger picture of the Trivikrama figure in Cave 2. The beautiful designs make it one of Badami's best places to visit. Some paintings show Shiva and Parvati getting married. 

Badami Fort

Archaeologists have found many exciting things at Badami Fort. It is in the Bagalkot area of Karnataka and is on top of a hill. The Fort has been around since 543 AD. King Pulakeshi of the Chalukyans built the old Fort. At the front door is a figure of Nandi, Lord Shiva's bull. This bull even has a big gun. You can see a beautiful view of the whole city from the Fort. The Badami Fort is worth visiting during the Badami Tour Packages.

Banashankari Temple Badami

The Banashankari temple is also famous as the Banashankari Amma temple. It is in Cholachagudda, which is near Badami in Karnataka. It is one of the state's most well-known Hindu sites. But the most exciting thing about this temple is that the people worship "Rahu Kalam," which is bad luck in Hindu society. Mallikarjuna Temples
