The Girnar hills are also famous as Revatak Parvata. It is on a mountain and is full of Hindu and Jain temples. Tourists need to climb many steps to reach the top of the hill. The hill is worth spending a day here. Girnar Hill is one of the best places to visit in Junagadh.

The Jain temples have stupas and are two-thirds on the Trek to the top. One can enter through the doorway on the left behind the first gate. Many temples remain closed from 11 am to 3 pm. The two brothers built the triple temple of Mallinath in 1177 in honour of the ninth Tirthankar. Many monks and spiritual leaders visit the temple during the festival. 

Further on the Trek, there are many other Hindu temples. The first temple on the hike trek is Amba Mata. At the temple, the newlywed couples have a bright future ahead. The further Trek has many descents and uphill with many temples. 

The Gorakhnath temple is at a height of 1117 metres, the highest hill in Gujarat. The rocky hill has a temple of Vishnu with three faces. There is also a temple of the goddess Kali. The views from the hilltop are worth it. The place is a must, included in the Junagadh tour package

The best time to visit Girnar Hill is from November to February. Tourists can also join the Bhavnath Mela from January to February. The local people perform music and dance at the temple. It shows the dance of Lord Shiva performing during destruction. The parikrama celebration happens every year in November.
