Darbar Hall Museum is a historical museum in Junagadh, Gujarat, near Sardar Baug. It is one of Gujarat's finest museums and a popular place in Junagadh.
The historic residence palace of Junagadh's kings was eventually converted into a beautiful Darbar Hall Museum. It displays the treasures of the 19th-century Nawabs.

History of the Darbar Hall Museum
Darbar Hall Museum, also famous as the Junagadh Museum, since 1964. The museum was originally a courthouse used by the Nawabs of Junagadh state to hear cases. The museum allows travellers to see the large and impressive Nawabs of the Babi dynasty, who governed Junagadh till India's freedom. The majority of the museum's things are from the nineteenth century.
Collection
Darbar Hall Museum is located in the Taj Manzil Building. It exhibits approximately 2900 objects in several galleries such as the Picture Gallery, Palanquin Room, Textile and Costume Gallery, Weapons Gallery, Darbar Hall, etc. The Picture Gallery also has an extensive collection of images and paintings of the previous Nawab and his numerous canines.
The museum's main attractions are antiques such as guns, armor, palanquins, brilliant chandeliers, howdahs, diamond woven carpets, pictures, robes, silver goods, jewelry, and chandeliers. It also has royal furniture belonging to the Babi rulers of Sorath. The museum attracts many visitors due to its magnificent collection of objects from the past that are still in existence.
The museum's most important gallery is the Darbar Hall. It has a royal assembly hall of the former rulers of the Junagadh state. It has displayed the then 'Darbar' in its original setting so visitors can get a sense of the royal court and assembly hall from the pre-independence period.
The Weapons Gallery also has a collection of royal arms. This gallery features several categories of daggers, swords, knives, delicate components, spears, and shields adorned with gold, precious, and semiprecious stones.
