History

The Khodaldham temple is in the devotion of Maa Khodiyar. The temple came into existence in the year 2012. It was open for the public to visit in the year 2017. The Shree Khodaldham Trust of the Leuva Patel community built the temple. 

The Shree Khodaldham temple is one of the largest Hindu temples. It is 299 feet long and 135 feet high. The temple has the idols of Maa Khodiyar, Maa Amba, Maa Mahakali and many other female goddesses.

About the Shree Khodaldham Temple

In the Shree Khodaldham temple, there is an idol of Maa Khodal, along with 20 other goddesses. The temple has 650 statues in total from the Mandovar. The statue of Dhartiputra is also there in the temple in a separate area. It is the only temple where the artistic Patel panels are placed in the world. The national flag rotates at the temple’s entrance, and it is the first temple in the world to do it.
