At the end of the spiritual hike to Maenam Top, there is a peak with views of Mt. Kanchenjunga, Mt. Pandim, Mt. Siniolchu, and Mt. Kabru. Maenam Wildlife Sanctuary Trekking

Many trails in the reserve go through thick forests, beautiful fields, and mountainous areas. From these trails, hikers can see the Himalayas in all their glory. One of the major trails makes a way to the massive view of Maenam Peak; between the two extreme ends, there would be open spaces for long vistas and the opportunity to spot some rare species.

Best Time to Visit

There are many kinds of plants and animals in the Maenam Wildlife Sanctuary in Namchi, Sikkim. It is between 2,000 meters and 3,261 meters above sea level. Between March and late May and October and mid-December.

It is the time of later spring, when the rhododendrons and other flowers are fully blooming, putting on an amazing display to guests. The skies are usually bland, and the weather is rather warm, with a view of the Himalayan Mountains, including the towering Mount Kanchenjunga. Spring is also a great time to, as the birds come back to the refuge after migrations.
