For those that are coming here for the first time, it is suggested that they visit Suicide Point after 10 in the morning as early mornings are generally clouded with fog. Make sure to visit it before the sun sets, preferably till 3 PM as afterward, it becomes foggy and you will not be able to view anything. Also, be careful of the hoards of monkeys that throng the point in large numbers. Tourists with kids need to be extra careful. You need a minimum of at least two hours to spend here. Tourists are allowed to carry their own cameras for shooting the serenity of this place. This is a place to visit in Kodaikanal in 1 day.
