Standing at a height of 180 feet, Silver Cascade waterfall pours down with all its glory on the shimmery rocky formations, making you want to touch and get one with its cool and silvery waters. • There are a lot of food sellers around the falls. You must try fresh coconut milk here as well as roasted corn cobs.
• Entry is free for all.
• Shoppers can buy local jewelry from street vendors. For choco lovers, some shops also sell homemade chocolates.
• Do not be surprised to find shops selling cheeses as well. 
• All though, the falls can be visited any time of the year, however, the months from June to September are the most pleasant. You can see the silvery waters spurting down mightier than ever during the rains. Winter too is a good time to come here. The weather is very cool and may get slightly nippy. 
• For those that love to experiment with food, there are a host of restaurants located nearby like Phil’s Bistro and SreeSabarees.
• If you are coming here, then plan for Kodai Lake as well. 
• It takes only 15 minutes to reach from Kodai town. You can take a taxi, auto or bus to come to this place. 
• If you are planning to walk from Kodai Lake to this fall, you will have to cover a 90 minutes journey. 

Some tips to bear in mind

• You will have to answer to your nature’s call at random places as there are no washrooms here.
• Lots of monkeys around, so be careful, especially when you have little children with you.
• Carry a set of dry clothes as you may get wet.
