The Gangotri National Park, one of India's most famous high-altitude wildlife sanctuaries, is idyllically located amid the natural environs of Uttarkashi. The national park is in a biogeographical zone. Its height starts from 1800 meters to 7083 above sea level. It is a huge park of 2390 sq. kilometers.
