Yamunotri Temple, dedicated to Goddess Yamuna, is located in the western Garhwal Himalayas at an elevation of around 3,291 metres. Yamunotri is the source of India's second most sacred river, the Yamuna. As a result, the Yamunotri Temple is one of the four Chota Char Dham pilgrimage locations.

The majestic mountains, enthralling springs of Surya Kund and Gouri Kund spouting hot and cold water, and the smoothly flowing River Yamuna create a serene ambience around Yamunotri shrine. Your YAMUNOTRI TOUR PACKAGE must include this.

The temple's interior includes a Garba Griha (sanctum sanatorium) and a Mandap (assembly hall) where devotees congregate for darshan and prayer. The Garba Griha houses a black marble idol of Goddess Yamuna adorned with flowers. Next to the Goddess Yamuna idol is a white stone idol of Goddess Ganga.
