McLeod Ganj is named after a Lieutenant Governor of Punjab, Sir Donald Friell McLeod and Ganj comes from a Persian word which means ¨neighbourhood¨. It is a famous but small village in the district of Kangra of Himachal Pradesh.

It is situated at a height of 2082 meters in the Dhauladhar Range, near upper Dharamshala. McLeod Ganj is a very famous hill station and trekkers love this destination for trekking.

McLeod Ganj Waterfall

McLeod Ganj Waterfall or Bhagsunag waterfall is one of the attractive places to visit in McLeod Ganj. There is a temple nearby, dedicated to Lord Shiva, which attracts a lot of devotees. It is located at a height of 20m in Bhagsu Village.

The environment around the waterfall is full of greenery and it’s a picture-perfect location. The water is crystal clear and the hills give adventurous feelings. It is around 2 Km from the main market. The cafe called Shiva cafe is very famous here.
