Indrahar pass Is a mountain pass that is situated in the laps of snow-capped Dhauladhar Ranges. It works as a boundary for the two districts of Himachal Pradesh. The districts are Chamba District and Kangra District. It is among the beautiful and picture-perfect places to visit in McLeod Ganj.

The mountain ranges give a brilliant location hence, Indrahar Pass receives a lot of tourists during the trekking season. The location is at an altitude of 4,342 meters from sea level. The PirPanjal mountain ranges can also be seen from this location.

Visitors and travelers always say that the best and perfect time to visit the popular Indrahar Pass is between the months from April and October.

Indrahar Pass Trek

The Indrahar Pass Trek commences from McLeod Ganj in between the Kangra Valley. The trek route passes through the Snow Covered Dhauladhar Mountain Ranges. Finally, the trek ends at Chamba District. If it is a plan to visit Himachal Pradesh, anyhow this place should not be missed for sure.

Dhauladhar mountain ranger and Pir Panjal Mountain ranges, both can be seen through this trek. It’s a moderate type of trek that passes through green deodar forests. This adventurous trek is also used by the Gaddi Shepherds who take their frock in the summer season for gazing. The scenario is as amazing as the place is that will take travelers’ minds and hearts together.

During trekking, the trekkers will find several breath-taking scenic views of mountains. In the north, they can get a perfect view of Mani Mahesh Kailash with the Pir Panjal Ranges. On the southern side, there are amazing greenery and plains. Also, there are temples and villages in the upper part of Ravi valley.
