Another name for the holy place is Markonda Lakshmi Kshetram. It is 2 km away from Upper Ahobilam. The celebration idol will always come from the Ahobil Mutt. The Malola Narasimha Temple is one of the best places to visit in Ahobilam.

Malola Narasimha Temple History

People can visit Ugrastambam, which is where Nrusimha kills Hiranyakashipu. A story from the area says that there was a young follower famous as Srinivasa Acharya. The followers lived in Melkote Village, which is in Pandavapura Taluk. It is in the Mandya District of Karnataka State. One day, Lakshmi Nrusimha told him in a dream to go to Ahobilam and become a monk there to live out the rest of his life.

Lord Srinivasa Acharya approaches his teacher, Varada Vishnu Varnacharya, for help. He said that the Lord's orders should be carried out right away.

After getting permission from his Guru, Srinivasa Acharya goes to Ahobilam and gets greeted by Mukundayya. He was the leader of Ahobilam at the time. Lakshmi Nrusimha showed up as a monk to Srinivasa Acharya and gave him monasticism by starting the Ahobila Mutt. Adi Sadaagopa Jeeyar was the name of Srinivasa Acharya. Sadaagopa Jeeyar was told to bring the holiday statue of Nrusimha to every home in order to spread Vaishnavism.

Sadagopa Jeeyar misunderstood an idol for an event, causing penance and seeking more information. The Festival Idol of Malola Narasimha, wearing shoes, flew to Jeeyar's hands, symbolising God's readiness for battle.

After killing Hiranyakasipa Ugra, Nrusimha became angry, and Maha Lakshmi took the form of Chenchu Lakshmi to calm Nrusimha down as Malola. She married Malola Nrusimha. In the Temple, Nrusimha and Maha Lakshmi look at each other.

Malola Nrusimha is in charge of Venus Planet. Venus is the planet that brings good relationships, wealth, health, and a beautiful body. People who had Venus in a bad spot in their Horoscope lost their looks, their happiness, and their physical relationships. Worshipping Malola Nrusimha can free you from the planet's curse and help lessen its bad effects by sending you good energy.
