The white powdery sandy beach is one of the best places to visit in Goa. It is based in a Goan taluk Bardez and attracts a large number of tourists from far and near. Its situated merely 22 km from Panjim and is enclosed by a terrain that features beautiful palm trees and gigantic black rocks or boulders. Once here, tourists never miss a chance to visit the famed Anjuna Beach which was once known as the nude beach and was a Mecca for European nudists and hippies. The other ‘not to be missed’ attraction while at this beach is the Chapora Fort. If one must come to Goa, then winter is the ideal time as it is during this season that many after-sunset and midnight rave parties are organized, and is an experience in itself.

The Unique Experience

The name Vagator is synonymous with Goa’s rave culture, and there is no other better place than the fantastic Vagator Beach to experience an intoxicating ambience. The USP here is its rave parties and mostly the foreign crowd. The rave parties here are a must to be seen and are very famous for their trance music. The beach is regarded as one of the most immaculate beaches in Goa. It is perfect for newly weds as well. For tourist captivating this beach is very famous in Goa tour packages

More About the Place

If this was not enough, the beach is a shoppers’ paradise as well. Yes, you must have heard a lot of the German Flea Market, and you have heard it for the very right reasons! The flea market is one of Goa’s longest and sells almost everything you can imagine. There is a particular joint that remains open all the time. Its called Robert’s Place. Among other things, eating is one favourite pass time for all tourists, and there is no place better than the famous Greek restaurant Thalassa, a joint located on the cliff that commands a view of the Ozran Beach.

What else?

If you’re in Goa, and on the Vagator Beach, then you ought to make a trip down to another famous beach, worshipped by the Western backpackers and hippies. Its called Arambol and is also a hub for getting high and dry! Its nestled almost 30 km from Vagator.
