History of Lalitha mahal palace

The mighty palace was constructed under the rule of the eminent Mysuru ruler WadiyarKrishnarajaBahaddur the Fourth in the early 1920s. The Tourist Development Authority manages the second biggest palace of the Mysuru city which has been converted into a luxury 5-starer hotel. With its Renaissance style of building carved out of marble and stone, the regal Mahal tells a lot about the rich history and lifestyle of eminent rulers of our country.
