Around 99 kilometers from Kozhikode and 26 kilometers from Kalpetta, Sulthan Bathery is a charming town in Wayanad Kerala. It is lodged at a height of 930 meters and is bedecked with spice plantations. The erstwhile name of this place was Sulthans Bathery as Tipu used the Jain Temple as a storage house for his ammunition. The other names of Sulthan Bathery were Ganapativattom and Kidanganadu.
