About  Soochipara Waterfalls / Sentinel Rock Waterfalls

Otherwise called Sentinel Rock Waterfalls, Soochipara Falls is a three-layered cascade positioned in Vellarimala, Wayanad. Encompassed by evergreen, deciduous, and montane backwoods, this cascade is viewed as probably the best cascade. The drive from Meppadi to Sentinel Rock Waterfalls furnishes guests with grand perspectives on probably the best tea domains in Wayanad. It is Wayanad’s most precious gems that must not be given a miss. It takes a brief drive to arrive at this breathtaking fall from Meppadi. One has to trek down for almost 2 kilometers to arrive at the water cascade. Trekking here is fun and even amateur trekkers can undertake the 1-hour trek easily.

Soochipara Falls timings and entry fee

The waterfall is visited between 9 AM to 4.30 PM. The entry charges are fixed at Rs. 80 per head and Rs. 50 for camera. 

Travel tips not to miss
Plastic is not allowed at the falls, and anyone carrying plastic water bottles will be stopped at the entrance. For carrying water bottles, visitors need to dole out a sum of Rupees 50 as a deposit. No alcohol is permitted inside.
