Astarang or Astaranga is a village located in Puri district in the Indian state of Odisha. Known for its agriculture and fishing, Astaranga is a major exporter of betel leaves, and the local name is paan to North India and other countries. This village is also a part of 'Lavanya Satyagraha' (Salt march) which was led by Mahatma Gandhi indeed.
Apart from the other Places to visit in puri, one should definitely visit Astaranga as well.
