People have found nine Navabrahma temples from the 7th century to the 9th century in Alampur town. The Arka Brahma temple is one of these temples, and people consider it one of the most important places to visit in Alampur. It is one of the temples that is in the worst shape.

Unique Design Elements of Arka Brahma Temple

This temple was built in a Nagara style and, during the mid-1400s, was attacked and destroyed by the Bahamani Sultan. The temple consists of a maha mandapa, a sanctum, and a road. The temple appears simple from the outside, but many images are inside the Maha Mandapa. They recently reconstructed the access to the sanctum because the older one had been destroyed.

One of a kind, the Shivalinga inside the chamber has a Naga picture on it. In the maha mandapa, the piers are square and plain. In the maha mandapa, they have set up a Nandi statue across from the shrine. An attack destroyed most of the sculptures on the outside walls of this temple. Some statues, like Ashtadikpalakas, are kept in a museum.
