Swarga Brahma Temple

People call Swarga Brahma Temple Dakshina Kashi because the rivers Krishna and Thungabhadra meet (Sangam) there. Alampur is a temple town in the Mahbubnagar district, renowned for its spiritual heritage and rich history. Architects built the vimana over the shrine in the Nagara style, and the tower remains in good shape.

Artists have represented Ganga, Yamuna, Nagendra and their automobiles at the sanctuary entrance. Roadside images show Ganesha, Nagendra, Subrahmanya, ducks, and lotus flowers. The maha mandapa's roof depicts Nagabandha. Pillars have several human representations. Some figures depict men riding legendary beasts like lions. Beautiful artwork decorates the building's exterior. The Lingodbhava scene, Lord Vishnu's Vamana avathara, Nataraja, Shiva's Ananda Tandava posture, Ashtadikpalakas, etc. Shiva dancing on the sukhanasi is beautifully carved on the vimana. Beautiful sculptures resemble miniature churches on the outside walls.
