One of the most well-liked hill towns in Northern India is Nainital, a gorgeous lake town in the Himalayas. The Kumaon Himalayan region's Nainital, often known as the "Lake District,". History 

The town functioned as the summer capital of the United Provinces under British administration. It has a vibrant neighborhood of houses and bungalows with a rich colonial past. This little village, spread out over a forested valley, used to draw homesick Britons. Another destination which makes the town more famous is the Naina Devi temple. It is on the shore of the lake. The hill station also has top-rated educational institutes. It has had a few famous schools and universities since the British era.  

Due to their love of the gorgeous Cumbrian Lake District, the British founded the city. It had colonial buildings, making the area more beautiful.  There are a few unexplored little hill towns near Nainital, such as Pangot, Ranikhet, and Almora. The best time to visit Nainital

The peak season, May to June, is the optimum time to visit Nainital. Nainital is a year-round attraction due to its pleasant climate throughout the year. The temperature varies between 23 and 25 degrees Celsius from April to July.
