The Trimbakeshwar Shiva Temple is a famous Hindu temple to Lord Shiva. It is in the town of Trimbak in the district of Nashik in the Indian state of Maharashtra. The temple is only 28 km from Nashik, a bustling city. It holds a lot of religious significance, and people believe it to be one of the twelve Jyotirlingas that represent Lord Shiva.

One of the most interesting places to visit in Nashik is the Kushavarta Kund, where the Godavari River begins. Shrmant Sardar Raosaheb Parnekar made this kund. He is famous for being the Fadnavis of the Indore State. Shri Nanasaheb, also known as Peshwa Balaji Baji Rao, built the current building of the Trimbakeshwar Temple. It is a masterpiece of architecture and devotion.

The black stone was used to build the whole building. The most important thing about Trimbakeshwar Shiva Temple is the jyotirlinga, which has three faces: Shiva, Vishnu, and Brahma. All of them live in the Shivalinga's space. Therefore, the name Trimbakeshwar means "Three Lords." They wear caps with jewels, which people believe to be from the time of the Pandavas.
