Pokhran Fort history:

Pokhran Fort is also known as Balagarh and is situated in the Thar desert. It was built by a clan of Rathores who used rare yellow sandstones. Built back in the 14th century, the fort has many other significant establishments such as Hawa Mahal, Phool Mahal, Mangal Niwas etc. Pokhran Fort is now open to the general public and converted into a heritage hotel.
