Major attractions

The Rock

The most significant attraction of all that attracts people to the magnificent site of the falls is this huge rock which is home to thick evergreen forest spread evenly over two acres over the rock's land. It is such a breathtaking sight to be in that people from across the globe visit here to witness that for themselves. Another specification that makes the rock so special is its size which measures up to an unthinkable range of over a mind-blasting Five Hundred acres. Such a huge rock is bound to attract people like a magnet with its unthinkable properties.

Mountaineering and trekking

The thickly cultivated plantations on the renowned rock make it an ideal spot for the mountain climbers and trekkers. With the knowledge of the area or with a guide by your side you may explore the beauty of the site in the best way possible with such closeness to nature. It is among the most challenging treks of the State.

The best part about the site is that it is conveniently located at a distance of a mere kilometer from the renowned Falls of Valara which makes it one among the two spots which can be visited together. The ones taking the highway to Kochi (NH49) may easily take a halt at the lovely site on their way to Kochi. The ones enjoying a stay at either Munnar or Kochi can always visit the site on public transport which is easily available for the site. It is precisely located right between Neriamangalam and Adimali.

You cannot go down the steps to the cold waters keeping in mind the safety precautions of the mighty falls and slippery rock. Both Summers and Monsoons don't allow you to take the risk.
