The conversion of the place into a lavish hotel took place in 1976. And now, the HRH group of hotels owns it. The palace has a total of four wings, namely Dungar Niwas, Mandir Chowk, Gulab Niwas, and Champa Niwas, and 13 historic suites. Each suite has been restored to its original grandeur. This place brags great craftsmanship by traditional artisans. The place provides the experience of the age-old luxurious lifestyle of the Kings indeed.

Gajner Palace history:

The palace initially served as a hunting resort during the British Raj indeed. The establishment hosted several important persons like the Prince of Wales in 1905, Government general Lord Elgin, Lord Erwin, and also Lord Mountbatten, the last viceroy of India indeed. The palace also has remnants of a historic railway station. This hunting resort was connected to the Bikaner palace in 1922. This palace gained its fame for the shooting of Sand-grouse birds found in those areas, and many viceroys during the British regime stayed here during the shooting sessions. But the palace now has been turned into a heritage hotel and is owned by the HRH group of hotels. As a result, this palace serves as a perfect holiday destination for a family vacation.
