An island named Little Andaman is one of the top locations to explore the places to visit in Andaman. It is hardly known to the people around. It is one of the largest, yet the remote location of it makes it most visited by tourist these days. Little Andaman Tribes

The tribe Andamanese has the largest domination over here. The tribes include the Great Andamanese, Jarawas and even the Jangil of the Rutland. As per the research, they started their stay in Andaman from the 18th century and a large number of them stay here from that time onwards.

Little Andaman Hutbay

Hutbay is a small local town in Little Andaman which can be reached by ships from Port Blair or by a Helicopter from Port Blair.  It is the gateway of the this place. All the transport facilities do arrive at the Hutbay without any disturbance. There is no natural harbour to Port Blair, but Hutbay has it for ships to anchor.  It takes around 8 – 10hours for the ship to reach from the Location of Port Blair to the Hutbay. 

The demography of the location is majorly covered by the Bengali settlers and the Andaman tribe. The settlement of Onge is happily placed without any hassle.
