Nature surrounded by the beautiful Saddle peak national park is one of the top places to visit in Andaman. It is completely inhabited by the native human residing there. It is a safe reserve forest area where the nation animals, wildlife of nay form and environment is taken care of. Dominant Fauna

The Saddle peak national park covers around 32.54 kilometres which were established in 1987. It is the home for Wild pigs, Salt-water crocodiles, Dolphins, Water Monitor lizards, Whales, Andaman Horseshoe bat, and endangered species.

Apart from these, there are Imperial pigeon, Andaman hill mynah, Andaman Crake, Grey Teal, Andaman Teal, Brown Coucal, Andaman Wood-Pigeon, White-headed Starling, and Andaman Cuckoo-Dove and many more.

Activities at Saddle peak national park

Trekking at this place is a fun-filled activity. The park can be trekked for over 8 kilometres from the entry peak to the mountain top. You will be able to explore the forest sight, the beaches and the freshwater pool which is here everywhere here and there. This place is strictly reserved from the better condition of the wildlife here and biodiversity here. The activities like Forestry, hunting, grazing and poaching on the cultivation process is not at all permitted.

Best time for Saddle peak national park

The wonderful green park is open throughout the year. The best time is to visit around the November to March period. The visitors here can easily travel to this place directly from Delhi, Chennai and Kolkata Airport.
