The relaxing Viper Island is the most popular place to visit in Andaman. It is mentioned on the Indian history pages because of the British rule that isolated the prisoners on this island.

Some grand numbers of jails are noticed here where the elementary torture on the prisoners happened. The conspicuous amalgamation of the past makes this place the most talked about among all.

The ruin of the jail has a lot of history to tell, which is hidden in the remains.  There were so many historical incidents happening in that time that all are embedded there. A lot of archaeologists find there resort there to study in detail. This bird view like Small Island has seven points of harbour which is best to runaway into the oceans.

How to reach Viper Island?

The most popular Viper Island can be reached from both sea and road ways. It takes almost 45 minutes to reach the Viper Island from the Port Blair. Mainly the harbour cruise piled to and from the jetty where the tourists mainly explore the harbor and reach to the destination of Viper Island safely.

If you are taking the route from Havelock Island it will take around 4 hours from there to reach the Island.

Best time to visit Viper Andaman

The beautiful, historically prominent island is open for the tourists throughout the year. In the summer, the temperature is pretty high, and tendencies of rain are high too. The best time is November to May for wandering to explore, unwind and delve into the diverse locals of the Island.

Interested tourists like you often wish to explore the jail built by the Britishers to keep the India Freedom fighters there.
