When we talk about the Wandoor beach what reminds us is of the colorful coral beach which makes it one of the top places to visit in Andaman. Located at a distance of around 25 kilometers from the Port Blair this pictorial scenic beauty is loved by all. The beach has its ideal colorful attraction which is the coral reefs are largest found over here.

Wandoor beach crocodile attack

The endangered species crocodile is one of the major attractions over here. The beach is dangerous due to many incidents of a crocodile taking away people who are working in the beach. You can track scroll of the entire beach while you are there, but getting inside the water at the Wandoor beach is a highly risky affair.  It is clear water blue beach that has a nice sunset and white sand feature that will soothe your eyes. Being careful about crocodiles will keep your life riskless. 

Wandoor beach jolly buoy island

Along with the Wandoor beach, the Jolly Bouy Island is a nearby attraction. It chiefly famous for its underwater corals and unspoiled clear beach features.  It will take your around 1 hour to reach the destination from the Wandoor beach.

The timings to visit Jolly Bouy Beach is around 9 am in the morning if you wish to witness the whole day's beauty. The Mahatma Gandhi National Park is located here. 

The place is completely a No plastic zone. If anyone is carrying any sort of plastic, then a security charge of Rs. 100  to be paid against each plastic material. This amount will be returned while common back from the Jolly Bouy Island.  Even paying an additional amount of money for carrying a video camera is to be paid to the security deposit. 

There is nothing actually available on the Jolly Bouy Island.  You require carrying food items, water, and all the necessary stuff to the beach to enjoy.  The tender coconut trees and the real charm of the place is what you will take pleasure in throughout here. 

Things to do at Wandoor beach

The beach is an excellent location to laze around and chill throughout the day. The soothing sun rays and calming weather is what you will find here. Obviously sunrise and sunset on the shore is an awestruck experience to witness the wonderful view. Close to the Wandoor beach, there are possibilities of fierce high tide which takes over the market place. A large amount of the deposition throughout the year is found in the tides.

There are numerous wooden huts, tables and benches where you can sit relax and witness the magnificent view.  The caves are quite thrilling and adventurous. Apart from sitting on the beach shore, exploring cave is an option to go and check out.
