In the past, Manginapudi was a big port. It's a fishing town on the beach, 11 km from Machilipatnam. The black sand on this beautiful natural beach makes it stand out. It also has a natural bay with small water. Manginapudi Beach is one of the best places to visit in Vijayawada.

Folk dance classes in Kuchipudi are taught at a beachside dance school that is well known for them. Aside from that, the beach gets a lot of visitors during the Maghapoornami event, when people come to swim. Many people gather on the beach for the "Krishna Utsav" festival, which takes place in February or March and is very famous.
