The complete construction of Sri Karneshwar Nataraja Temple is a result of blending Pyramids with our Traditional fashion of temples. The design of the Dome is known as Cloister Dome as it has been constructed in a pointed manner of square shape. Under the dome, the deity of Lord Shiva sits gracefully in a central chamber. Both the dome and pyramid is made with the fusion of concrete cement and CSEB (or colloquially stabilized earth blocks) to make it stronger than before. The roots are buried deep into 1.15m below to survive tsunami.

Following the schedule of Temple timings, it opens at 6:00 am and closes at 12:00 pm. At evening the door stays open from 04:00 pm to 09:00 pm.
