The unique experience
The one and only museum in Kanyakumari that is dedicated to works of wax is the well-known Wax Museum, counted as one among the top places to visit in Kanyakumari. It is a place perfect for visiting with young kids as they are most expected to go berserk seeing the wax statues of their favorite personalities. The wax models or replicas are ditto copy and you will not be able to make the distinction between real and fake when you come here. It is on lines with Madam Tussaud’s in London, but in no way inferior to it. Different kinds of historical figures are installed here which makes visiting it fun and interesting.
About
The Wax Museum is situated inside Kanyakumari’s Bay Watch Water and Amusement Park. It was opened for the public on the 24th of December in the year 2005 and has since become the most visited spots for families. Here, you can enjoy looking at lifelike wax statues of Bollywood heroes like Shahrukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, while at the same time revel in looking at Rajni sir’s unmistakably styled wax idol. In addition, you can also see figurines of political figures of India like Indira Gandhi as well as Mahatma Gandhi along with international celebrities like Jackie Chan as well as Arnold Schwarzenegger. Mother Teresa’s statue of wax looks realistic as well. Hence, it emerges as a noteworthy highlight in Kanyakumari tour packages.
