Collection of the Museum

Maharaja Sayajirao Gaikwad 3 had a collection of many artefacts before the Museum. Museum, and he donated his entire collection to the Museum. The picture gallery

History of Baroda Museum & Picture Gallery

Sayaji Rao 3 built the Baroda Museum in 1879 A.D. The Museum is around 113 acres. The famous architect R.F. Chisholm designed the Museum. The picture gallery was added later, in 1910. The picture gallery has a collection of artworks by famous British painters.
